| Hi,
I am a Brit biker and I am bringing a small team over to SA in August 2007. We are recreating a journey made by JL Norton (Norton Motorcycles) in 1921. His Grand daughter and Great Grandson are part of the team! We are starting in Durban, heading north to Jo,burg and Pretoria then South West through Bloomfontain down to East London, then West to Cape Town. We would love to meet up with some local bikers and ride with them. Also, as organiser I would really appreciate some info on road conditions, campsites, accommodation, weather in August etc etc. Please let me know if any of your members would like to join us for part or all of the trip, or if anyone would be willing to give us some info about the route. I can provide a full detailed route plan if any one is willing to help us. We are not a commercial organisation and this trip is the dream of a lifetime for Judith (JL NortonsGrand daughter).
